I recently got the chance to go to the G-Eazy concert for his “When it’s Dark Out Tour”, on February 18th 2016, at the republik located at Kapiolani in Oahu. I’ve been a fan of G-Eazy (Gerald Earl Gillum) for  2 years , and after I heard about his concert in early December of 2015, I bought my ticket in a flash. The ticket was relatively cheap, it was only $35! But, unfortunately, I had to pay for a plane ticket to get there and of course, I had to save up some money to do some shopping! I attended school on the same day as my concert because I couldn’t risk missing my AP class. I left school right after the bell rang so I was definitely in a rush, and my flight was at 5:15 pm. Once I got there I did some shopping, and got tons of fabulous clothes! Right then, and there I had thought about how long the line would be since it was a sold out concert, so I had asked my uncle if we could show up early. This is where it gets good, as I showed up in line, G-Eazy was getting out of his car and I was a few feet away from him. My stomach exploded with joy and excitement. It was 6:30 when the hall room had opened for us teens and adults to walk in. Blah blah blah let’s skip right to the concert, my ticket placed me in the middle of everyone which I completely detested. So I ditched my uncle because he had been drinking like most of the adults in there, and I crawled up to the front, where I had met a girl named Rosie, we became instant friends after I asked her if I could stay up there with her. So, I was In the front, being blessed, yet again, by the voice and presence of G-Eazy. The top 3 songs of the night, that I’d say made my life were, “Let’s get lost”, “Tumblr Girls”, and Me Myself and I”. I snap chatted most of the concert on my phone while drowning in my own tears and being suffocated by all of toxic smoke, hence the reason why I could only attend the concert with an adult because it had taken place in a bar. I would say the highlight of the concert was just being there, and being able to touch his hand, I couldn’t even function after that. I’m not gonna lie, G-eazy is a gorgeous human being, and that was probably the best night of my life. Well, besides the part where I had to rush back to the airport, my flight was at 11:11pm. I whispered, goodbye G-eazy as I boarded the plane and left Oahu. G-eazy is unique in many ways, he’s one of the rare white rappers, and he has a unique sense in style along with those tight rap lyrics of his.
